Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) Services

Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) enables the controlled delivery of Windows desktops and applications to users. Cloud PCS’s AVD services include two deployment options: the AVD service running in the Azure environment and the AVD Hybrid service, which leverages the organization’s own infrastructure.

Choose the AVD service that’s right for your organization

The appropriate deployment model depends on where the organization’s applications, data, and AVD servers are located. In the AVD service, the environment is deployed on Azure. In the AVD Hybrid service, centralized AVD management is integrated with the organization’s own infrastructure.

AVD Service

In the AVD service, virtual Windows desktops, applications, and AVD servers are deployed in the Azure environment. The service is ideal for organizations that want a centrally managed and flexibly scalable virtual desktop environment without having to maintain AVD servers in their own environment. AVD Hybrid Service

The AVD Hybrid service combines the centralized management of Azure Virtual Desktop with the organization’s own infrastructure. Users’ virtual Windows desktops and applications run on AVD servers located within the organization’s own environment. This service is ideal for situations where you want to keep applications, data, or your current server environment within your own infrastructure. Learn more about the AVD Hybrid service
